Concerning _Six Degrees of Separation_: my 20th Cent. Dramatic Lit class is scheduled to read that play next week. Sadly, I have not seen the film or read the play, and I was wondering ( I guess, curious in advance) as to what exactly the "Catcher" monologue is about. Simply the novel in general? I only have a vauge idea of the plot of the play, even, so any comments would be intresting to hear...or it is one of the kinds of work that one should read for oneself before hearing comments on it?
