Yeah, I laughed after reading this one too. I do feel a bit badly about
my sarcasm, Matt, but just a bit.... :)
Straight Answer: No, there is no "real" Glass family. You can't go
visit them in New York. They were made up by Salinger.
And I agree with your final plea for an expansion of his thought on
Salinger and Zen, because unlike me, he does seem to be a true believer
so far as that goes. Really, really I do :)
