Check this out: Restrictions: Two boxes, # 1302-1303, labeled "Eccentrics,
1969-1975," are restricted until 2050; otherwise access is unrestricted.
hard to navigate...but searching each box in person should be fun and take a
few years. a few years of fun sounds great. i've heard that they watch you
like nazis though and make you feel very uncomfortable when you ask for some
of these borderline naughty things.

i haven't read the thurber. (isn't a selection of his
letters just out?) have you read that bio of ross,
'genius in disguise'? i haven't, but after reading
the ross letters it's on my list.
