Sounds like here, you have a secondary school teacher who has a bit of the old "Joe Goebbels syndrome" clouding her ability to be accepting of her students' opinions, which may differ from the teacher's due to his or her developing awareness or, a student's genuine perceptiveness to viewpoints and ideas in literature. When a dullard who holds a teaching license (which John Cleese probably puts in the same category as a "cat" license), arbitrarily intimidates a high school student; it tragically short circuits the trust one holds in their instructor, as someone who will teach by insights and example rather than use scorn and censure when your opinion does not match theirs. - Ed ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
