Ah, young grasshopper...

I, too, was a bit puzzled by the mysterious signatures, until I remembered Bruce/"Frederick"'s email a few days ago:
___
...But it did get me thinking about the inhabitants of our fish pond... [edited for brevity] ...Granted, some of you ancients--you know who I mean, yes, you, the over-40 crowd--might be a *little* embarrassed, but hey, face it, your lives are *over*. All of us safely under Jack Benny's (yeah, we know who he is)
perennial age of 39 are breathing sighs of relief... So. In short, I propose, with each new post, each fish, *once*, appends at the end of her or his post: birth date (don't forget the *year*) and present city of location.

I'll start if off: 12/22/81, Westport, CT, USA. And as an added revelation, I live with my dog.

--Frederick

P.S. Sorry about that typo, it's 80.

ObSal: Salinger is over 80, too. I, however, am not.

Regards,
Cecilia.
(My first free evening in weeks and what do I do? Read Bananafish. I wish I'd been in town for the recent flurry of posts on DDS. But alas, Iowa called and I had to commune with cornfields for a couple of weeks. Glad to be back.)
