I wasn't quite sure what to make of the birthdate stamps and residence details that have begun appearing at the bottom of messages. I reviewed the week's activities but found nothing useful. Then I realized that the appearance of these peculiar new signatures coincided exactly with my switching from Netscape's Messenger to Microsoft's Outlook Express. I checked the "options" configuration under the "tools" menu, and sure enough, there was a radio button on the "read" tab: "display sender's birthdate and current residence details." Trouble is, I turned this function off and rebooted, but messages are still coming through with birthdates and addresses. What's going on? Obsal: Sean's recent post on F+Z
