Thanks Jim and you're right about selfish people having a negative influence on the world. They give only for what they anticipate to take, and the smart ones, like Hitler, know that the only way to profit is to take more than to give. He did it for his country, he says, restored nationalism and beat the depression, but he also did it to prove that he was worthy to the now older men and women who used to called him useless. His hidden agenda was fearful and vengant upon those people he used to be jealous of, but his outward appearance was pristine thanks to his oratory prowess. He gave to his people but he took far more from them than they could possibly imagine, and he got what he wanted, a picture in the encyclopaedia, and then some. I wonder if he felt satisfied with his accomplishments before he killed himself. If he won the war, would he have killed himself? To be honest, I hardly care. All I know is this man was selfish and he took far more than he gave to the world. If I were to walk up to Hitler if I was a boy in Germany and Hitler was young too, and knowing what he would do in the future, I would kill him. I don't have the time to turn a selfish man into a righteous one, their inner personalities don't listen to the outside. The severely selfish are effectively insane. So I kill him. I profit by giving to the world, he profits by failing to live his miserable life, and the world profits by both. Unfortunately, I can't go back in time, but I would like to.
