Au contraire, just last weekend the (world's?) largest parade of `poofters'
had their annual parade, the Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras. It yearly attracts
60,000 people to watch it and remains Sydney's greatest occasional
moneymaker. A bloody lot of fun it is too (: I would say that the desert
climate suits them to the ground, you'd be surprised.
